    Healing Nature Center #givingtuesday Fundraiser

    Fundraiser Goal: $65,000

    This goal is comprised of the following:

    $33,000 for completion of the Northwoods Natural History Museum: Construction materials, roof, interior design, plumbing, heating, bathrooms, administrative equipment.

    $13,000 for adding an ADA compliant wheel chair accessible section to the Healing Nature Trail: Trail design and implementation, signage, 2 all-terrain wheelchairs, reflection nooks, pollinator gardens.

    $14,000 for renovating and equipping the Welcome Center and Giant Pine Lodge: Housing for workshop participants, equipment for online workshops, heating, water system, kitchen and laundry appliances.

    $5,000 for renovating the Hermitage and the Wetland Edge, two small log cabins designated for future use for solo retreats: Electric power supply, heating, roofing.

    Overview of our books

    Memorial/Dedication Plaques
    Donors of $1000 or more will be specially recognized on a plaque in one of the Healing Nature Center buildings or on a featured location along the Healing Nature Trail.

    A donation of $15,000 or more will also receive recognition and acknowledgement by our Trail Guides when sharing the story about the origin of the Northwoods Natural History Museum.

    Legacy Fund

    The ability of the Healing Nature Center to continue its healing mission well into the future is secured by sustaining contributions from individuals, families, trust funds, bequeathals, and organizations.

    A bequest of $25,000 or more, will be honored by a Board of Directors’ proclamation to install a commemorative sign of recognition at a prominent location within the Healing Nature Center, dedicating it to the memory of whomever the bequester desires.
