Science is only now discovering what indigenous cultures have known from the start; nature heals. Inspired in part by the Japanese practice Shinrin-yoku, or Forest Bathing, the Healing Nature Center is being designed with the understanding that certain areas of the forest can offer different or heightened healing experiences. Walking the Healing Nature Trail on your own, with a certified trail guide, or a therapist can help anyone who is on their healing journey. The wildflower-bordered labyrinth offers a symbolic method of leaving behind the pressures and stresses of daily life in order to gain more clarity and awareness for what lies ahead, inspiring a deeper connection and trust with oneself. The Cosmorinth, a meditative stargazing platform overlooking the labyrinth, can encourage tranquility and inspire creativity through meditation and wonderment.
